According to media sources connected to the official vote count, some people such as National Alliance’s Christopher Emmanuel, and The UP’s Claret Connor may not be our new Parliamentarians after all.
HERE’S WHAT I RECEIVED BELOW:
Seats in Parliament:
Now that the Electoral Board have officially published the results of the personal votes one would think that the seats in Parliament are all secured.
For 13 of the elected 15 Parliamentarians that is certainly the case.
There are nevertheless two seats that can change when the 303 Invalid Votes are being evaluated / revised by the Electoral Board.
If some still get to be promoted to Valid Votes, then we’ll have to await and see to which candidates these will go.
In the NA we have 4 candidates who are contesting the fourth seat and they are:
Emmanuel, Cristophe T. |
247 |
Samuel, Rodolphe E. |
243 |
Richardson, Hyacinth L. |
206 |
Pantophlet, Romeo |
205 |
In the UP we have also 4 candidates contesting for the seventh seat and they are:
Buncamper geb. Molanus, Maria J. |
204 |
Leonarrd, Johan E. |
202 |
James, Jules C. |
199 |
Conner, Claret M.M. |
198 |
So I’ll advice Cristopher Emmanuel and Maria Buncamper to wait with uncorking the champagne until the Invalid Votes have been evaluated / revised.
Remember: Saturday morning at six o’clock Claret Conner was considered and declared having earned the seventh seat for the UP, but Saturday afternoon when the Electoral Board released the personal votes it turned out to be Maria Buncamper who got the seat.
