Collective Prevention Services Sxm St Maarten
Commemoration of the upcoming World Breastfeeding Week 2016 (WBW), with the theme “Key to Sustainable development”, brings awareness to the Sustainable Development Goals formed by the World leaders to help the world become a better place by 2030.
Sustainable Development Goal #10 is Reduced Inequalities.
Breastfeeding can reduce inequalities because:
Breastfeeding practices differ across the globe. Breastfeeding needs to be protected, promoted and supported among all, but in particular among poor and vulnerable groups. This will help to reduce inequalities.
Mother’s this is the moment you’ve been waiting for!!
The Collective Prevention Service is bringing awareness of breastfeeding and also to encourage other mothers to go through with the breastfeeding process. Some parents find it challenging in the beginning but soon see how rewarding breastfeeding can be and how much closer it brings you and your baby together.
