Sint Maarten extends lockdown
Philipsburg: On Sint Maarten, the government lockdown has been extended by three weeks. The measure was instituted on April 5, originally for a period of fourteen days, to prevent further spread of the coronavirus.
Currently, 63 infections are registered, nine people have died. The government now allows supermarkets to be open three times a week. Essential companies are also allowed to open under certain conditions. Only one person per household is allowed to go shopping on the street.
