José Daniel Yajure, a native of Mirimire, San Francisco municipality of Falcón state, played a baseball game on Sunday, after which his teammates decided to share a few drinks around the stadium located on Island Sint Maarten (Saint Martin).
The Notifalcón website reports that one of the players tripped over something, which sparked a argument that was followed by apologies to settle the misunderstanding.
The mishap seemed over, but when the Venezuelan who had tripped got up to go to the bathroom, they followed him and stabbed him in the back.
An act that cost him his life
Seeing what happened, Yajure came to his defense and hit the attacker on the head with a board. This act cost him his life, as he received several stab wounds and bled to death. The doctors could do nothing to save him.
The partner who was first stabbed is also torn between life and death, due to serious damage to his internal organs.
