SeaDream Yacht Club recently announced that it will be homeporting out of Port St. Maarten for the upcoming winter 2023-2024 Caribbean cruise season with SeaDream II.

Acting Minister of Tourism and Economic Affairs Hon. Omar Ottley: “It is a pleasure to have SeaDream join our destination for homeporting. We look forward to welcoming the cruise guests to our Friendly Island.

“I want to express humble words of thanks to SeaDream Yacht Club for choosing St. Maarten. Hopefully, through our excellent service we can use this opportunity to attract other cruise lines to St. Maarten.”

Port St. Maarten Group (PSG) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Alexander Gumbs said on Wednesday: “We have been in discussion with the SeaDream team for some time now as we further showcase the unique opportunity of berthing, passenger facilities and provisioning at PSG.

“My team at PSG are very proud that we have been able to have this high-end market cruise line to select our port for their cruise itinerary this upcoming season.”

SeaDream II will commence with six and eight-day voyages that will call at ports in the Leeward and Windward Islands.

The 56-stateroom SeaDream II starts the 2023-2024 season on December 9 with three round-trip voyages from Port St. Maarten. The luxury yacht offers five-star service, award-winning cuisine, and intimate onboard ambiance, with all activities offered in the open air.

Family-owned and -operated, SeaDream Yacht Club has achieved the industry’s highest accolades for its twin, casually elegant yachts SeaDream I and SeaDream II.

SeaDream’s sole Founder, Owner & Chairman, Atle Brynestad, founded Seabourn Cruise Line in 1987 and was its Chairman and CEO during its initial years. Established in 2001, SeaDream Yacht Club launched with twin mega-yachts, SeaDream I and SeaDream II. From November through April, the twin, mega-yachts visit the turquoise water of the Caribbean.

SeaDream vessels cater to a maximum of only 56 couples and a 95-person highly attentive crew, “It’s yachting, not cruising” defines not only the small size of the vessels but their onboard lifestyle and anticipatory service.

SeaDream Yacht Club provides a boutique yachting experience, calling on small harbors and secluded ports around the world on 4- to 16-day voyages.
