Police Arrest Another Venezuelan Tax Office Arson – Curacao

Another man and woman were arrested during the detention on the Road to Welgelegen. They wanted to prevent the arrest. Another Venezuelan was arrested earlier. The main suspect is a Haitian man and subcontractor to the Isla, who may have already left the island.

Venezuelan Migrants Represent 13% Of The Population Of Aruba

Finally, there was a meeting with the ombudsmen of the Kingdom. The ombudsmen of the Netherlands, Curaçao and Sint Maarten spoke with Willem-Alexander about developments in their countries, the relationship between citizen and government and the role of their institute in problems between citizens and the government. In addition, discussions were held with the quartermaster of Aruba about the advanced plans for establishing an ombudsman in Aruba.
