Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard Personnel Receives first COVID-19 Vaccine

Some of the DCCG personnel who were vaccinated last week Friday.

Last Friday, April 9th, a team of the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard (DCCG) received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. After the Vaccine Management Team (VMT) provided an information session on Wednesday, April 7th, where the staff could ask their questions, a considerable group signed up immediately.

The VMT then arranged for the team to come to the Belair Community Center as a group and receive their vaccine on Friday, April 9th.

Jurandi Sambre, Head of Operational Services said: “I took the vaccine to keep myself and my loved ones safe. By taking the vaccine, we can stop the pandemic and continue to live our lives as normal as possible.”

Organizations who wish to organize an information session for their staff can send an email to bvdmeijden@whiteyellowcross.org.

After the session, a timeslot can then be reserved for those staff that wishes to receive the vaccine together, just like the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard staff did last Friday.

With the more contagious British (UK) variant now prominently present on our island, the need to protect ourselves against the virus has become increasingly more important.

Only if enough people become vaccinated can we stop the virus’s spread and prevent a situation like we’re seeing on the sister islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao.

If you haven’t done so already, please register yourself using the online registration form, which is available in English, Spanish, and Creole, and can be found here https://forms.sintmaartengov.org/Form.aspx?fid=5376a115-73d0-4a74-b632-95a9448539b2&v=OGtn05kNmb

Registration is free, and the COVID-19 vaccine is free.

Paper-based “COVID Vaccine Registration Forms” can be picked up at several locations, including the Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labour (Ministry VSA) Collective Prevention Services (CPS) at the Vineyard Office Park Building, the Division of Labor Affairs at the Simpson Bay Public Service Center in Simpson Bay, doctors’ offices, the Government Administration Building, and select pharmacies.

The VMT also encourages everyone to assist friends, family, neighbors, and loved ones with the registration as we know that some struggle with the process. Ask if you can help with registration, transport, or support if you suspect that someone could need it because only together can we reach our goal.

If you have questions about the registration process, your appointment, or if you wish for information, the CPS is happy to help you. Call CPS at 914 or email: vaccination@sintmaartengov.org

Government committed to the continuity of the Airport Terminal Reconstruction Project 14 Apr 2021

The Government of Sint Maarten remains committed to the continuity of the Airport Terminal Reconstruction Project. The internal changes within the Princess Juliana International Airport Operating Company’s management staff (PJIAE NV) have no bearing on this commitment. This means that the project will continue according to the current financing agreement in place. Adherence to corporate governance guidelines at Princess Juliana International Airport is a primary concern of the Government when conducting policy toward its companies. As sole shareholder representative of the Princess Juliana International Airport Holding Company (PJIAH NV), the Council of Ministers will look into whether the proper procedures were followed with the dismissal of PJIAE NV’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Brian Mingo, in accordance with the Corporate Governance Code. As per the European Investment Bank (EIB) Financing Agreement and the World Bank (WB) Agreement, PJIAE must inform the EIB & WB of the termination of the CEO’s contract and his replacement on the management board, thereby reconfirming its commitment to the continuity of the Airport Terminal Reconstruction Project. On April 8th, the supervisory board and management of PJIAH met with members of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (MinBZK), to negotiate the Cooperation Agreement between PJIAH, PJIAE, MinBZK, and Royal Schiphol Group, which expires on August 1st, 2021. The Airport Terminal Reconstruction Project will continue as per all signed agreements. The restoration of the Princess Juliana International Airport to its full potential remains a high priority for the government and people of Sint Maarten. Its timely completion is critical in fully restoring the country’s damaged economy as a result of the devastating 2017 hurricanes and the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic. The government will ensure the agreements with the World Bank and the European Investment Bank are upheld.

Video: The Same People On Facebook Saying Nothing Is Wrong With Andrew Dick Are The Same Ones Supplying And Enabling Him

1) The same people now saying “pray for Andrew”, are the ones who started the bandwagon rolling about Andrew Dick being addicted and beating his girlfriend, and destroying the house with a baseball bat.
2) I cannot be a hypocrite, so I just have to be me.
3) The Videos are a wake up call, but you know they are too low I.Q’d to get that.
4) There are DOZENS of Videos of Andrew… MUCH WORSE.

But the same people feeding Andrew’s substance abuse are the same ones on Facebook saying that we are lying, he is having a breakdown, he needs a medication adjustment. We screen captured EVERYTHING.

THE SAME PEOPLE ANDREW WAS PARTYING WITH, THE SAME ONES FEEDING HIS ADDICTION ARE ON FACEBOOK CALLING US LIARS. EVIDENCE posted.
5) People are upset by the video, because reality upsets them. Today you have a great job, tomorrow you are laid off and cannot cover your mortgage. Today you are in a mansión, by tomorrow Soufriere has it covered in ashes. Today you can party and do this and that…no problem, tomorrow you are an addict. Today you are at the top of society, rubbing shoulders with Ministers and Parliamentarians, tomorrow they speed pass you walking the road, laughing their asses off.
6) The same people who defended Andrew’s exploitation of children, think that they can come after me now
7) The TRUTH, the reality is too disturbing, their main concern his hiding videos, and burying domestic abuse, embezzlement and the Child molestation that he has been a part of for.
8) There is a difference between kicking someone when they are down like Andrew Dick, and posting a video which is basically saying, this could be you. You can have a stroke, a Mental breakdown and end up walking the streets. I have to get back to being me…
NOT A HYPOCRITE….

I have to go convert some documents, click back… I’m not done

Central Bank Curaçao & Sint Maarten (CBCS) has drawn up an extensive reform package. To increase the resilience of the financial sector

IMF report ‘Contingency planning crisis management and bank resolution’

To increase the resilience of the financial sector, the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten (CBCS) has drawn up an extensive reform package. Technical assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was used in the analysis and design of the program.

For example, the CBCS informs the Antilliaans Dagblad when asked about an explanation of the remark made by the outgoing State Secretary for Kingdom Relations at the end of March. “In the recent period, the IMF has drawn up two reports, in which the financial sector of the monetary union Curaçao-Sint Maarten and the system of supervision of the financial markets were examined,” Knops had written. CBCS president Richard Doornbosch said: “The reform plan covers several functional areas of the CBCS and aims to further increase its analytical capacity in the area of financial stability and systemic risk analysis; to tighten up supervision; and strengthen the safety net for the financial sector. ”

At the end of 2020, the CBCS analyzed the situation in the financial sector on Curaçao and Sint Maarten and identified important financial risks and shortcomings in legislation and regulations. The IMF has provided technical assistance in this regard. The IMF report entitled “Contingency Planning for Crisis Management and Bank Resolution” was released in February 2021. “The report will not be made public due to confidential supervisory information contained in the report.”

Ten priorities from the reform program have also been included “in consultation” in the Implementation Agenda as agreed in the framework of the Country Packages.

In order to strengthen so-called prudential supervision – primarily in the field of liquidity and credit risk management – the CBCS conducts thematic studies into the liquidity position supervision and the quality of the liquidity risk management of financial institutions.

Furthermore, the CBCS has planned investigations into the quality of the loans and investments of institutions, at least “as soon as the long-term financial and economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic can be more reliably estimated.”

This analysis also showed that legislative and regulatory reforms are necessary with regard to intervention, enforcement and resolution. Doornbosch emphasizes that these changes are essential to expand the range of instruments of the CBCS and to improve the effectiveness of its actions.

In addition, the IMF underlines the importance of a more data-driven and pervasive approach to supervision, increased efforts to improve the formal governance structures of the supervised institutions and more attention to the long-term viability of certain business models. < / p>

An important part of this is the quality of the data received by the CBCS to perform its supervisory task. This should be improved as a matter of priority in a number of areas.

Finally, the initiation and institutionalization of a structured dialogue between the CBCS and the Ministries of Finance was also discussed to enable effective coordination in the field of financial stability and, in particular, crisis management.

A formalized dialogue is preferable to ensure that both parties are informed about (potential) risks to financial stability. Such regular consultation also provides for informing the government of intended policy (changes) and mobilizing support for the necessary reforms of the financial sector, with the aim of minimizing the potential harm to the taxpayer should the financial sector come under pressure. “That is why it is strongly recommended to set up a financial stability committee,” said Doornbosch.

In St Maarten They Worship The Pedophiles That Prey On Their Kids, Make Them Victims, Blame The Child… And Attack The Whistleblowers

The videos are wake up calls, it can happen to anybody… Not one of you pedo enabling hypocrites stepped up when Andrew Dick was molesting YOUR daughters. SOME of you DEFENDED him, and blamed the 14 old girls. The EVIDENCE is below…. This man openly peddled children, and you want to criticize the blog as you stood up to defend a pedophile? I would not trust any of you around children, because either you are just like him, a pedo… or you are like that secretary who just got busted, an enabler. Then I see your crooked, pedo enabling asses going to church twice on Sundays. The Holy water should scald ayo stinking hypocritical asses. St Maarteners like to normalize RAPING children.
