KADASTER HEAD CLEMENS ROOS ARRESTED AT HIS BACKSTREET OFFICE TODAY

Clemens Roos head of the Kadaster was arrested at his Backstreet office this morning.

He is also said to have been promptly suspended from his job as he was arrested.

This could mean BIG trouble for Former Prime Minister Sarah Wescot Williams.

For years former and current employees requested that I came to Philipsburg on Sundays…

He would do his ‘activities’ on Sundays, when there was no one else at the offices.

At the request of the Kadaster employees(s) I video and photographed the activities at the Kadasters office for several months.

I just spoke to other employees at the Kadaster, who confirmed that he had been arrested, and were surprised that it took them so long to finally make the arrest.

There have been many complaints about Clemens Roos, then Prime Minister Sarah Wescot Williams and various land deals.

According to Kadaster employees, Roos did his dirt on Sundays for Sarah, so that no one would know what he was up to.

Roos remains in custody.

clemens roos arrested

Considering that this is another ‘government ran’ enterprise, it can only get more interesting.

Now I have to go dig up those videos and photos at the Kadaster office to post.

GEBE SUPERVISORY BOARD TO FILE INJUNCTION AGAINST THE SHAREHOLDERS/ MARCEL GUMBS GOVERNMENT

It seems that Prime Minister Marcel Gumbs, in his efforts to appease and please Mr Theo Heyliger, might be crossing the lines into ‘conflict’ and crime.

Today at 12:00pm the GEBE Supervisory Board put in a “Kort Geding ” (Temporary Order) against the GEBE Shareholders/ Marcel Gumbs Government.

Tomorrow an Injunction will be filed- “Bodem Procedure”, a full Injunction against The GEBE Shareholders / Marcel Gumbs Government).

It is a civil case filed by the GEBE Supervisory Board, because  illegal/unethical tactics are being used behind the scenes, to keep Maduro, who was fired last week for his incompetence- as head of GEBE.

gebeGEBE

Prime Minister Marcel Gumbs, in his infinite boldness sent a letter to the Supervisory Board pretty much demanding that they keep Maduro on for two more years. It was a “Council of Ministers” decision.

But Marcel forgot to read Article 7.2…

Here is the story, with Zero spin.

Theo Heyliger, the leader of the UPP and the leader of the SXM government wants to keep Maduro at GEBE because he has the potential to make millions under the table, using GEBE and of course, Mr Maduro.

Theo Heyliger and his advisors appointed ONLY UPP friendly people to the GEBE Board, because it’s simply easier to manipulate party loyalist.

It appears that certain board members were appointed, to rubber stamp and okay certain unethical, some might say downright illegal behavior at GEBE.

Theo’s problem now, is that these Board Members refuse to go to jail for him, so he’s using Marcel to apply the pressure.

The GEBE Board has four (4) months to appoint someone.

The Shareholders have to submit  the names of TWO (2) candidates.

Marcel and the Council of Minister have submitted but one name 🙂 Maduros!

Now Prime Minister Marcel Gumbs, actually breached the confidentiality agreement and sent Mr Maduro a copy of the Shareholders proposal..

That breaches ALL confidentiality clauses…. doesn’t it?

First of all, this is an illegal game that Marcel and the Council of Ministers are playing, all at Theo’s bidding.

The Government shareholders have to submit TWO names!

ROMELIO MADURO SUSPENDED AT GEBE

They only submitted ONE name. Mr Maduro, that man who the Board just fired for his incompetence.

Then they further crossed the ethical and criminal fringes, by sending Maduro a copy of their “demands” which the Shareholders are calling a “proposal”…

And telling him that he still has a job.

Now Maduro was everywhere bragging, thinking that Theo had bailed him out..

But not so fast!

Maduro SUCKS at his job at GEBE,

But Maduro also sucks Theo’s ass- and they are about to rake in the cash…

So who the hell is the GEBE Supervisory Board to tell them what to do?
Well, it seems like the GEBE Board can actually PROVE some ethical and criminal violations going on at GEBE, so it can only get more interesting.

Theo setting Marcel up,

and Marcel is falling for it..

Hook, line and sinker

You would think that Marcel would be to busy trying to cover up the SMHDF mess, to worry about GEBE.

But we all know Theo is trying to get Marcel locked up, because Marcel played a part in getting Claude Wathey, Theo’s grandfather locked up in prison.

Stay tuned…

The GEBE Bobol is about to go down.

SXM GOVERNMENT.. CONTINUE TO IGNORE THE PLIGHT OF THE LOCAL.. AS THEY CONTINUE THEIR YEAR LONG VACATION

Good morning my husband and I own a Tiki Hut in Simpsonbay at Kim Sha beach entrance operating for the last 3 years of which is now the famous spot on the island for both locals and visitors where you can get the best in a variety of foods. We brought in all needed documents to economics department. We are paying taxes as we should because from income of the operation. A couple months ago we were instructed to bring in a new lease agreement as the one on file had expired. We have been inquiring about this file ever since and have not gotten a word nor call from anyone on the status of the file to date. We have been invaded on three occasions by authorities including last night. We are local black people trying to make a business but is getting no help from my own Local Government. All we want is our signed operation license. Without this we are being held back as black local people trying to make it. Right about now we are asking ourselves what and who did we vote for?

KIMSHA
Did we vote to be treated like this?
Did we vote to be held back in our own country?
Did we vote to beg for what is ours?
Did we vote to be told local business are situated?
Did we vote to be told my hands are tied?
Did we vote to be told right now I am not happy with what is going on in government?

Since our application in 2012 many have applied and received their licence and we are still waiting. Its been 3 years and still waiting. Can someone tell us why local men are struggling in their own country. Government of St. Maarten appointed to help the people why are we been treated like this?

The latest GEBE FACTS, Shareholders call a meeting to meet with Supervisory Board tomorrow 1 pm

1) The shareholders council has scheduled a meeting with the GEBE Supervisory Board. It will be held tomorrow at 1:00pm.

2) This is the first meeting to be held concerning the current Maduro issue, so anything that you’ve been reading at the gossip sites is misinformation.

3) There are people trying to argue the GEBE bobol and these people have NO CLUE as to what the GEBE Articles stipulate, because they DON’T have access to these documents.. So read below carefully when you read the blogs, and discern for yourself who’s telling the truth, and what can actually be done at GEBE.

4) Don’t let the St Maarten politicians DISTRACT you with the GAY RIGHTS bullshit arguments!

It is a distraction, from the current government mess!

5) In my estimations, about half of your government are gay males, married to women- so the Gay Marriage argument, so lets stick with true political issues, before we are FORCED to call these homosexual hypocrites in government out.

Here are some articles of the Articles of Incorporation so that the PUBLIC can understand what is going on and why it takes so much time to settle the matter of the COO/President of the Managing Board.

Article 7

4. Each nomination for the appointment of a Managing Director ahould state at least two names of persons who are candidates. Mr. Kelvin Bloyden as a Supervisory Director regularly in this matter refers to Article 12, point 18. to prevent the Supervisory Board from acting via email, expeditiously and quickly on developments, because he continues to vote ‘No’ and the SBOD is forced to convene ameeting which takes five (5) days (weekends excluded)

In a regular SBOD meeting Article 12, point 1. is in place, whether Mr Bloyden is present at the meeting or not.

EXCLUSIVE: Edmonton man arrested in homicide of American medical student on tiny Caribbean island

Map showing the location of the Caribbean island of Saba.

An award-winning medical student from Edmonton has been arrested in the Dutch Caribbean island of Saba in relation to the homicide of an American medical student there in April.

The man has been identified by media in Saba as 27-year-old Omar J. Elkadry of Edmonton. Prosecutors have confirmed the suspect is a 27-year-old student with the initials O.J.E.

The victim has been identified as Kavya Guda, a 24-year-old woman from California.

Both were students at the Saba University School of Medicine on Saba island, a special municipality of the Netherlands in the Caribbean, southwest of St. Maarten.

The Korps Politie Caribisch Nederland, the police agency investigating the case, said Guda was found dead by a friend in her home April 15, in an area of the island called The Bottom. Her death was classified a homicide after an autopsy at the Dutch Forensic Institute in Rijswijk, Netherlands. The cause of death is not being released.

Elkadry was arrested June 1. He is being held in custody on the nearby island of Bonaire.

A statement on behalf of police and the public prosecutor’s office said the investigation has yielded “enough incriminating evidence” to continue holding him in custody.

“Further investigation is being done into the scenario that this suspect could be responsible,” police spokeswoman Lucia Beck said in an email to the Journal.

She said other scenarios — including the possibility “that he was involved, but not the only one” — are also being investigated.

“At some point, the prosecutors will have to decide whether the investigation is sufficient to charge him,” she wrote.

Elkadry previously attended the dental hygiene program at the University of Alberta, where he received awards recognizing both his work and character. In 2013, he received the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta student award of merit in recognition of “professionalism, leadership and team spirit.”

He appears to have started at the medical school in Saba in 2014. A classmate described him as a “very intelligent, very nice, very approachable person,” who was part of student government and his class president, and maintained among the best grades in his class.

A worker at the Morinville recycling business owned by Elkadry’s father said Jamil Elkadry was out of the country for an unknown amount of time. He later passed along a message that the father had declined to comment on his son’s situation.

A statement released by Department of Foreign Affairs spokesman Francois Lasalle said the Canadian government is “aware of the arrest of a Canadian citizen in Saba Island,” and is in contact with local authorities and providing consular assistance. He would not comment further.

Police and prosecutors in Saba have said the investigation has been given “the highest priority,” with additional detectives added to the investigation team, a special phone line to deal with tips related to the case, and a senior public prosecutor from Rotterdam called in to assist with the additional workload.

Officials say FBI investigators are also involved in the case and witnesses in the United States. An FBI spokeswoman declined to comment on the case, referring questions to authorities in the Dutch Caribbean.

Police in Saba are also investigating a series of threatening and sexually explicit emails sent to medical school students after the homicide.

Beck said the emails may be of interest in the homicide case, but are currently being investigated separately. No arrests have been made in relation to the emails.

A parent of one Canadian student said the emails threatened female students. One email his daughter received said there would be a stabbing.

“In the meantime, vicious emails were targeting women in my daughter’s class throughout the month of May with threats of sexually explicit violence,” the parent said in an email. The Journal agreed not to identify the parent because he expressed concerns for his daughter’s safety on the island. “Students were resorting to bunking up at night in fear of being alone.”

The parent said there were also serious concerns about the way the university has handled the situation.

“They wanted it to go away and they wanted the student body to act like it never happened,” he wrote. “The local media has been equally complicit in silencing the whole thing.”

With an island population of only about 1,800 people, the medical school is a key resource in Saba. Online, some locals expressed concerns that the homicide may have a negative impact on the island.

As the Korps Politie Caribisch Nederland noted in one news release, “Especially in a small community, an unsolved crime can cause commotion.”

The medical school did not return multiple calls and requests for comment.

Parliamentarian Frans Richardson formally requests that Minister of Justice Dennis Richardson resigns.

PHILIPSBURG–United St. Maarten Party (USP) has requested that Justice Minister Dennis Richardson resign. The request was presented in a letter to the minister delivered on Friday afternoon.

Minister Richardson did not confirm to The Daily Herald whether he had received the letter. He said he was “not commenting” on internal coalition or political parties’ matters.

dennis

Prime Minister Marcel Gumbs has indicated already that should the Justice Minister be faced with any vote of no confidence in Parliament the entire cabinet also would resign. The request for resignation was not yet on the table at the time of Gumbs’ statement.

Speaking to the press on Sunday along with Richardson, Gumbs said that if the reason for wanting the Justice Minister gone was the protocol he had signed with the Dutch Kingdom Government at the end of May on the establishment of an Integrity Chamber for St. Maarten, then the entire cabinet also would go, because they all had known of the protocol and had been in agreement with it.

The USP’s resignation request was discussed in Friday’s governing coalition meeting, but only briefly, with no solid end result. The meeting of the United People’s (UP) party-led coalition, held in the Government Administration Building, had as its agenda point the draft country budget for 2016.

It is understood that the board of USP, led by Member of Parliament (MP) Frans Richardson, made the decision this week to formally request that the minister resign. The party gained control of the Justice portfolio as per January when it joined the UP party coalition, but the minister was not appointed by USP.

An agreement exists that the Justice Minister will remain in his post for at least a year. However, the USP board is said to now want the minister to vacate the post because of what they deem lack of communication and respect for the party and its leader.

The specific case that has been cited is the Justice Minister signing a protocol with the Dutch Kingdom Government at the end of May on the establishment of an Integrity Chamber for St. Maarten, but leaving out the USP party leader from e-mail correspondence in the consultations.

USP holds one seat in the 10-seat coalition that also comprises UP (7 seats) and independent MPs Cornelius de Weever and Leona Marlin-Romeo.

Parliamentarian Frans Richardson formally requests that Minister of Justice Dennis Richardson resigns.

PRESIDENT UPP SILVIA MEYERS SLAMS FAKE ‘JOURNALIST’ BIBI HODGE SHAW ABOUT HER ‘SLANDER SITE’

PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten – The board of the United People’s (UP) Party does not support blatant misuse of the noble profession journalism by those who use journalism as a hobby to slander others rather than a profession to factually inform, educate and enlighten.

Journalism requires research, impartiality and care in its execution so that credibility is not questioned.

Operating on the fringe of fantasy, fabricating “news” and using the power of words in a deliberate, destructive manner, does not constitute good journalism and goes against the principle for fair reporting and presenting both sides of the story.

Slander sites do not reveal their sources therefore what is published cannot be considered credible.

Slander sites are being pushed by political forces with an agenda and do not care how it achieves its intended objectives, whether it’s causing harm to the image of the country, whatever way possible this is the way they operate.

Many good, solid people of this community continue to have their name or institutions they are part of, slandered simply out of bias and obvious agendas.

These blogs do not enlighten and educate the population of the country, but only focuses on the UP Party. The aim is to discredit and spread propaganda which places the people and country in a negative light. Slander sites do not have country St. Maarten at heart.

This form of social media that the people of St. Maarten and the country have to endure operates under the basis of slander and smear of the good name of people in our community and damaging the name of the country of St. Maarten and its people.

The board hereby informs the general public that the UP party will not issue any press releases, information, press invites and the like to outlets it considers counterproductive to the principles of good journalism and who continue their deliberate attempts to smear people and institutions of the country St. Maarten.

In addition to its own source of news distribution (social media etc.) there are reputable news institutions that uphold good journalism principles which the UP will continue to use as outlets to reach the people.

The UP Party admonishes slander sites, and do believe on the principle that while everyone has the freedom to express themselves via any means, one cannot idly sit by while there are those who are out there to destroy that very same freedom with slander.

If we allow this to continue what example will we be setting for our own children?

I just picked this up from Samuel Allen’s site… And NOTE: Silvia is referring to so called St Maarten “Journalists”. Finally a local politician is distinguishing between the fake journalists, and the bloggers.

Posting blogs for political motives and politicians…. Silvia hit the nail on the head, lol! Why wasn’t she speaking up like this for the people, when she was a Parliamentarian 🙂
