In another press release, the Prime Minister of St Maarten said that after March 17, commercial aircraft were allowed to land and take off to allow the evacuation of those who were to depart after March 17.
As a reminder, from Tuesday, flights from the USA and Europe are prohibited in Juliana for two weeks.
Restrictive measures also do not apply to residents on both sides of the island and surrounding islands.
Regional flights are maintained.
