Den Haag – Het lijkt uitgesloten dat er vrijdag in de Rijksministerraad een akkoord wordt gesloten over nieuwe coronaleningen aan Curaçao, Aruba en Sint Maarten. Staatssecretaris Knops zei gisteravond in de Kamercommissie voor Koninkrijksrelaties dat dat nog wel weken gaat duren. De tijd begint wel te dringen: Aruba en Curaçao kunnen mogelijk aan het einde van deze maand al niet meer aan hun betalingsverplichtingen voldoen zoals het betalen van ambtenarensalarissen. Geld uit Nederland komt er alleen maar als de landen akkoord gaan met de voorwaarden van Nederland.
