Netherlands for registration in the
Personal Records Database
If you are going to the Netherlands as a student, you must take
care of some things before you can study there. One of them is
registration in the Personal Records Database (in Dutch:
Basisregistratie Personen, hereinafter the BRP). If as a student you
want to go study in the Netherlands for a period longer than four
months, you must be registered as a resident in the municipality in
the Netherlands where you are going to live.

Report: St Maarten Funds Itself Solely With The Dutch Treasury, Needs Holland’s Support, Defaulted On fls.50 MILLION Payment

Sint Maarten, a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, funds itself solely with the Dutch Treasury and has not demonstrated independent market access. This results in very low borrowing costs for Sint Maarten but also requires continued political support from the Netherlands. Last year differences between the two nations, including lack of agreement on the speed of implementation of certain cost reduction measures, led to the government of the Netherlands to temporarily withhold liquidity support and a delay in debt payments by Sint Maarten.
