CBCS Central Bank Curacao Sint Maarten investigates financial position and payment behavior in Curaçao.
Willemstad – The Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten will conduct research over the next two months into the financial position and payment behavior of people in Curaçao. The bank does this together with the Central Bureau of Statistics.
The aim is to gain insight into how Curaçaoans handle money. The Central Bank asks households to cooperate if a poller comes along. He is required to identify himself at the time of the visit.
