A decline that is marking time, in favor of stabilizing the situation for 3 weeks. This high plateau must call for the greatest caution, given the tense situation in mainland France and in the other French territories of the Caribbean.
Saint-Martin :
For the week of July 12 to 18, 2021 (week 28, data stopped on July 18), there are 51 new cases in the territory of Saint-Martin, a stable figure this week again since 53 new cases were identified in week 27, knowing that the number of tests remained at a high level with 2,615 tests carried out during the week. At the same time, 47 new positive cases were recorded by Public Health France (SPF) 1. Taking into account the consolidated data from the previous weeks, this brings to 2,481 the number of cumulative cases of coronavirus confirmed in the territory (SI-DEP SPF data).
It should be noted that since 07/19/2021 (current week 29), 12 new cases of COVID have been recorded out of 457 analyzes carried out.
Saint-Barthélemy:
For week 28 (data stopped on July 18), there are 5 new cases in the territory of Saint-Barthélemy, 8 new positive cases are recorded by SPF in parallel. This brings the number of cumulative confirmed coronavirus cases to 989 (SI-DEP SPF data).
Since 07/19/2021 (current week 29), 12 new cases of COVID have been recorded out of 203 analyzes carried out, seeming to show a sharp increase in the circulation of the virus in this territory.
Hospitalized and deceased
The CH Louis-Constant Fleming and the CH de Bruyn remain very committed to the management of the crisis. As of July 19, 6 confirmed COVID patients are hospitalized at the LCF hospital (knowing that they were still 9 on July 18). 2 EVASAN were carried out last week and one was done on the 19th.

Epidemiological indicators are stable this week, but vigilance is still required to avoid a further deterioration of the health situation. Indeed, the situation remains fragile and can change very quickly. According to SI-DEP ARS data, the incidence rate, down slightly this week, is still above the alert threshold, standing at 142.7 / 100,000 this week 28 against 148.3 / 100,000 in week 27 .
