It seems to me, that Sarah Wescot Williams has been blackmailing Theo Heyliger for a long time now. Make sense out of nonsense. The USP/DP/NA tried to put together a very unstable tri-partite coalition. William Marlin has been a part of the corrupt St Maarten Government since 1979, Sarah Wescot Williams, was involved in the corruption since her days as a speech writer for Claude Wathey. Sarah Wescot Williams was also the Prime Minister for the past 4 years, and supposedly in charge when all of the latest corruption, money laundering, and missing Dutch fund money was going on. Frans Richardson is very much under investigation, and will be in court soon enough for the “Tourism Bureau/Per Diem scandal”.
Bas Roorda, the Dutch auditor is the catalyst for the Per Diem scandal, so the Dutch are fully aware that one of the leaders of the USP/DP/NA coalition was already under investigation, they are aware of Sarah Wescot William’s own dirty dealings, or else her son Andy Wescot would not have been listed as the youngest in “The Brinkman Investigation into Corruption in the former Netherlands Antilles”. The Dutch are also aware of William Marlin’s land scams, his construction deals, and his EXTREMELY close ties to the casinos and casino owners.
Yet, with all this going on, the Dutch did not feel the need to come in and investigate.
The Price Waterhouse Cooper investigation into integrity and corruption on the island proved ONE thing.
The corruption is systematic, it’s generational, and it’s deep rooted.
Cornelius de Weever defected to Theo Heyliger’s “Broad Based Government”. This gave Theo Heyliger the majority once again to be in power, to be at the helms of government.
On the day that it became public that Cornelius had in fact defected, I was told by FIRST hand sources that Sarah was frantically trying to reach Connie, but he would not answer the phone.
What does this mean?
To me, it means that…
Theo Heyliger was quite content to form a coalition with Cornelius de Weever, they made it very clear that they would LOVE to have Leona Marlin, but they also made it clear that Sarah was NOT welcomed into the new government majority.
They felt that Sarah had gone to Greece knowing what the deal was, when they got there she refused to speak to or communicate with Theo, saying that “he had gone too far, and below the belt with his campaign rhetoric.’
And besides that, they knew that they couldn’t trust her, the only things she’s seemingly good at is Zumba-ing and shafting Theo And William.
Sarah refused to work with Theo Heyliger, as she played coy in Greece, but Leroy de Weever, Cornelius’ uncle and political advisor as usual was looking out for his own best self interest. So he did a “Leroy de Weever” on Sarah and secretly negotiated a coalition deal between Cornelius and Theo behind the scenes.
The UPP neither needed nor wanted Sarah Wescot Williams, but like I’ve said before, Sarah has always had ONE Ace up her sleeve…
HIGHER SUPERVISION
Sarah was locked out of the government majority, for the first time in years. National Alliance members it was said, tried to ‘pursuade’ Silvio Matser either by coercion or by a blackmail video, into crossing over to the ‘other side’.
The National Alliance were supposedly trying to blackmail a UPP member into ‘jumping ship’, with the video tape of the UPP member handing out cash, on camera at a polling station on election day.
The National Alliance evidently thought that the video would be enough to persuade the person to jump ship (blackmail).
The UPP candidate refused to jump, and the video etc was promptly handed over to the KPSM (Korps Politie Sint Maarten) The local police department, and to the prosecutors office.
I have everything recorded of all events since the elections.
On the day that it became known that Connie had defected, Sarah gave a very nervous interview, Bibi Ho Shaw drilled her with questions about Connie, and she did her Zumba dance around the questions.
On the the same day that the National Alliance agents were busy spreading the rumor that both Matser and Janchi had defected to their side, Sarah also held a press briefing – ON A SUNDAY- and in this press briefing, she let it be known that she was keeping ALL options open.
This was an abrupt turn around considering how her and her camp had been hammering Cornelius de Weever about “letter of resignation”, now all of a sudden, Sarah was open to all options.
The UPP+Connie coalition still did not really want Sarah, and I believed this is when the whispers of “Higher Supervision if Theo gets back into power” grew into a roar.
I believe behind the scenes Sarah was blackmailing with the “Higher Supervision” card.
Sarah was on top for a long time, her ego could not take going from Prime Minister and Ruling in the majority, to just becoming an ordinary Parliamentarian.
At this point scrappy, survivor Sarah probably pulled out her Ace…………..
EITHER SARAH IS A PART OF THE GOVERNMENT, OR THE DUTCH WILL BE CALLED IN FOR ‘ASSISTANCE’.
It seems that the UPP called her bluff, because soon after Sarah Wescot Williams lapdog, Minister of Justice, Dennis Richardson sent a letter to the Dutch basically begging for assistance with the corruption that both him and Sarah have been a part of, for a long time.
Plasterk and Van Raak came out with a lot of bluster….
It went on for days, I posted the Dutch and Curacao blogs diligently as the saber rattling was going on between the Dutch and St Maarten governments.
Suddenly we read the headline “Plasterk, shelves plans for Higher Supervision in St Maarten………….”
Then almost as an afterthought it is announced, that Leona Marlin has joined Theo Heyliger’s broad based government- but MORE importantly,
so had Sarah…
The same person who via her surrogate Dennis Richardson had called for an investigation into Theo Heyliger and his government, just WEEKS before.
NOBODY WAS MORE SHOCKED THAN THE PARTY SARAH HAD BEEN THE LEADER OF FOR YEARS- The St Maarten Democratic Party.
There had been leaks everywhere during the disastrous USP/DP/NA “Coalition Demolition”.
It had gotten back to Sarah, that her own best friends Ramona was leaking info (whether intentionally or accidently), and it was damaging Sarah’s ‘brand’, because she would come out with a statement like “I have not spoken to Cornelius, he has yet to inform me…”, but her own best friend Ramona was contradicting her, saying that “there had been contact, but it was via a text message”.
At this point the DP is already teetering on one leg, because half of its seats (Cornelius) has left, The UPP don’t need Sarah they’ve got Leona and Connie.
So it must have been desperation time for Sarah.
The only person aware of her move was her children.
She did not tell her advisors, candidates, friends, boardmembers anything, they supposedly received a text.
Some core DP loyalists resigned in disgust, right off the bat.
Ramona’s daughter Marinka resigned in shock. Richelda Emmanuel was said to have resigned immediately after also.
According to sources, they received an email from Michael Ferrier of the DP saying that they shouldn’t be surprised if they read about his resignation from the DP in the papers, because he had heard of Sarah’s defection in the news.
Both Leona and Sarah defected to the broad based government at the same time. It hurt the USP tremendously, but it DESTROYED the DP party.
Sarah was their leader, and she held their only remaining seat, now she had defected.
They could call for her to resign, but that would be the final nail in the coffin, because for ONCE in decades, DP would not have ONE person representing them.
Sarah of course, like Cornelius will NOT resign, they will have to kick her out– then she is ensured that as an independent, she will get HALF of all funds alloted to the DP, Cornelius if kicked out would get the other half, DP would have literally NOTHING left.
As angry as the DP and their board were with Sarah, they had to cling on to her, she is their only flotation device right now.
But then they started to GRIPE about Sarah’s negotiations with Theo Heyliger.
They felt that she’d gone into the negotiations with only her son, and had gotten taken advantage of in the negotiations (LOL)
Rumors abound that Maria Buncamper was to be made Minister.
So now the DP wanted MORE.
The UPP probably said… nope, we had a deal…
You got President of Parliament, that gives you the esteemed title that you want attached to your name. We allowed you into our broad based government although we hate you, and distrust you- because you blackmailed us with the Dutch, it’s a done deal.
Now this is of course conjecture…. but if you follow the pattern, what would Sarah’s response have been to that?
……If you don’t work with me, I will have Dennis call back the Dutch………….
They probably called her bluff………..and now…………..
Out of the blue, the Dutch are back to assist us.
But also out of the blue, Sarah now thinks that the Dutch coming to investigate is “ABSURD”……
AFTER SHE CALLED THEM IN TO PLAY HER ACE!
and it’s only been a matter of WEEKS!
Why the change of heart, on Sarah’s part?
Sarah opened the “DUTCH PANDORA’S BOX”, and now she’s finding it impossible to close.
SHE IS NOW A PART OF THEO’S GOVERNMENT- SO SHE IS NOW ALSO UNDER INVESTIGATION.
THE DUTCH ARE ASKING WHETHER SHE RECEIVED ANYTHING TO JOIN THEO, AND IT SEEMS THAT THEY ARE SUGGESTING THAT THE TITLE OF ‘PRESIDENT OF PARLIAMENT’ WAS A PART OF THE DEAL- ALSO SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION….
It seems that Sarah thought that she had some type of deal with the Dutch, if she was in government- they wouldn’t have to investigate…
she would keep an ‘eye’ on things….
ya know, like she’s been doing for the past 4 years.
Maybe the Dutch have seen through her.
It was revealed that Sarah made a UNILATERAL decision to join Theo, excluding her entire party from the deal, and only bringing along her son Andy, the same sone from the Brinkman report.
So now Andy will be a part of this investigation.
Dennis Richardson the man who called for the Dutch ‘assistance’ may regret his decision when he too finds himself under the microscope- there is nothing clean about Dennis.
I predict that the more the Dutch breathe down the necks of the politicians, the more people will SNITCH, in order to save themselves.
Leaders will be throwing candidates under the bus, candidates will be throwing their leaders under the bus.
Theo is not going down based on Dennis Richardson request, when he has so much dirt on all of them.
The Dutch are focusing on Theo- but Theo will not go down alone.
He will go down with one hand around Marlin’s neck, and the other around Sarah’s neck…
there would still be enough room to hold Frans in a headlock………………

Sometimes you have to reach out and hold on to something- ANYTHING- for survival……….
If one person takes the fall, there will be a chain reaction, and it will penetrate and permeate ALL political parties.
