I cannot respond to all of the inbox messages. There are hundreds coming in every few hours about missing people in St Maarten, Saba, Statia and the nearby islands. I am the only administrator on all of the groups, pages and blogs right now. There are hundreds of different sites in the network. However, the majority of other admins and editors are caught in Hurricane Irma right now, so it’s been just me for the past couple of days, with to moderators.
I have opened the Group ST MAARTEN DAILY NEWS AND HOURLY UPDATES
It is now an open forum. Anyone can join the group, there are almost 40.000 members already there.
Any members can add other members to the group.
Any member can post and comment freely, as long as they keep the topic to Hurricane Irma, St Maarten etc.
Anyone needing more information can also like the page St Maarten Daily News and Hourly Updates
Like and follow the page and the latest hurricane and St Maarten info will show up in your feed and timeline.
The difference between the page and the group is that the page is run by editors who post all the relevant links, blogs, videos etc… anyone can comment, but editors and admins are the only ones who can post.
The group allows anyone to post and add other members. So that is the forum to join right now.
I have added almost 1000 members in the few hours.
I will continue to monitor the best I can’t and try to post the most relevant info.
