The Veterans Football Association Volunteer Players (VTS) last weekend played a friendly match on Tobago against S. V. Phoenix 1976.
Huey Cadette, Secretary of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports took the kickoff at the Bon Accord football field. He played with enthusiasm, and thanked VTS and ARATRAVEL their initiative of sports and tourism between T & T and Suriname.
Both SV Phoenix president Terry Williams an VTS – Chairman Steve Chinnoe thanked all the players and participants for the great success.

A return visit is planned and it will offer an attractive package in cooperation with the SLM and a hotel.
VTS is looking forward with its 26-strong team to their return visit back and were satisfied with their team from the Netherlands, Curaçao, St. Maarten, Guyana, Aruba, Belem and now Trinidad & Tobago has also been added to their itinerary of islands to visit.

Huey Cadette, Secretary for Education Youth Affairs and Sports deed de aftrap op het Bon Accord voetbalveld. Hij speelde mee en dankte VTS en ARATRAVEL voor het initiatief om sport en toerisme naar T&T en Suriname te bevorderen.
Zowel SV Phoenix president Terry Williams als VTS – voorzitter Steve Chinnoe bedankten alle spelers en actoren voor het groots succes waarbij de nodige cadeautjes niet ontbraken.
Een groep ondernemers organiseerde te San Fernando een ‘Welcome netwerk tjokha chatni doksa party night’ met muzikale omlijsting.
Een tegenbezoek wordt gepland en zal in samenwerking met de SLM en een hotel een aantrekkelijk package worden aangeboden.
VTS blikt met dit 26 man sterk teambezoek tevreden terug en zal naast Nederland, Curaçao, St. Maarten, Guyana, Aruba, Belem en nu Trinidad & Tobago ook andere eilanden aandoen.(GFC)
