Participatory association workshops in the neighborhoods!
The Collectivity runs a series of workshops in the four major districts of Saint-Martin, in order to identify subjects of interest and needs in terms of associative development. The objective is to listen to local associations.
On June 29 at Concordia in the presence of the territorial councilor Bernadette DAVIS and on Friday July 8 at Savane, under the aegis of the territorial councilor Martine BELDOR (member of the executive council), the first two workshops organized in district n°3 then neighborhood no. 2, have given full meaning to this local initiative, led by the Local Life Department and its Associative Life department, whose commission is chaired by Martine Beldor.
Informing, undertaking, collaborating, these are three themes that the Collectivité of Saint-Martin has taken up, with the aim of promoting exchanges and sharing between neighborhood associations at the service of users.

An operation financed by the Fondation de France (€60,000) and the Collectivity of Saint-Martin (€72,000), carried out in partnership with the company Unite Caribbean, which supports the community in its policy of structuring and professionalizing subsidized associations of the territory, thanks to a partnership agreement.
This initiative aims to get as close as possible to neighborhood associations to discuss with them, identify their needs and develop actions to meet their many expectations.
The Collectivity can thus better understand the problems on the ground encountered by the associative fabric to initiate actions to meet these needs. Collaborative and support tools will be put in place, but also joint projects, sharing spaces, communication actions to help disseminate association events.

- District N°1: Wednesday July 20 at 5:30 p.m. in Quartier d’Orléans (place to be confirmed)
- District N°4 Wednesday July 27 at 5:30 p.m. at Sandy Ground (Aline Hanson school)
The Collectivity of Saint-Martin invites all associations in the sector to participate in these local exchanges to create links and move forward in the same spirit.
❇️ Des ateliers associatifs participatifs dans les quartiers!
La Collectivité anime une série d’ateliers dans les quatre grands quartiers de Saint-Martin, afin d’identifier les sujets d’intérêts et les besoins en matière de développement associatif. L’objectif est d’être à l’écoute des associations locales.
Le 29 juin à Concordia en présence de la conseillère territoriale Bernadette DAVIS et vendredi 8 juillet à la Savane, sous l’égide de la conseillère territoriale Martine BELDOR (membre du conseil exécutif), les deux premiers ateliers organisés dans le quartier n°3 puis le quartier n°2, ont donné toute sa signification à cette initiative de proximité, portée par la direction de la Vie Locale et son service Vie associative, dont la commission est présidée par Martine Beldor.
Informer, entreprendre, collaborer, voilà trois thèmes dont la Collectivité de Saint-Martin s’est emparée, dans l’objectif de favoriser les échanges et le partage entre les associations de quartier au service des usagers.
Une opération financée par la Fondation de France (60 000€) et la Collectivité de Saint-Martin (72 000€), menée en partenariat avec l’entreprise Unite Caribbean qui accompagne la collectivité dans sa politique de structuration et de professionnalisation des associations subventionnées du territoire, grâce à une convention de partenariat.
Il s’agit par cette initiative d’aller au plus près des associations de quartier pour échanger avec elles, identifier leurs besoins et développer des actions permettant de répondre aux nombreuses attentes.
La Collectivité peut ainsi mieux appréhender les problématiques de terrain rencontrées par le tissu associatif pour initier des actions permettant de répondre à ces besoins. Des outils collaboratifs et d’accompagnement seront mis en place mais également des projets conjoints, des espaces de partage, des actions de communication pour aider à la diffusion des évènements associatifs.

- Quartier N°1 : Mercredi 20 juillet à 17h30 à Quartier d’Orléans (lieu à confirmer)
- Quartier N°4 Mercredi 27 juillet à 17h30 à Sandy Ground (école Aline Hanson)
La Collectivité de Saint-Martin invite toutes les associations du secteur à participer à ces échanges de proximité pour créer du lien et avancer dans un même élan.
