At 5am, category 3 Hurricane Matthew is making its way to Florida with maximum sustained winds near 120 mph.
Hurricane Nicole has weakened a little. Nicole remains over open waters with maximum sustained winds near 100 mph.
The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor these systems. These systems do not pose a threat to St. Maarten.
