Latest update, I was just down at the casino. The security guard who was shot, is now in stable condition. It appears that the robbers are targeting Francesco Corallo’s casinos for a reason. This is the fifth attempt, the second successful robbery or Corallo’s casinos withing a month the first two attempts at Beach Plaza failed, and the third was successful, This was the second organized attempt on the Atlantis Casino in the past few weeks, this time they were successful. There are many theories as to why Corallo’s casinos are being targeted
Details that i won’t get in to. But since the dismissal of one male Jamaican employee at the Beach Plaza Casino, the robberies and robbery attempts have been relentless.
Paradise Casino, is supposed to be on alert. Dunes casino is also supposed to be Corallo owned, but with the Caravansarai dispute- that is simply conjecture, more to come

On Sunday November 16th, 2014 at approximately 12:00 p.m. several police patrols, detectives and paramedics were sent to the Atlantis Casino in the Cupe Coy area to investigate a robbery at that establishment. On the scene the investigating officers learnt that three suspects, all dressed like females, entered the casino and threatened the cashier with a gun with the intention to rob the establishment. The security guard who was alerted of the ongoing situation confronted the suspects at which time he was shot in the legs. The suspects were prevented from taking any cash and immediately fled the scene, possibly in a small car, after the shooting of the guard. The victim was treated on the scene by paramedics and then transported to the Sint Maarten Medical Center for further treatment.
