LBGT GAY Community told to avoid Aruba, Curacao, Sint Maarten. They are saying that the C.A.S. Islands: Curacao, Aruba, St Maarten treat gays and LBGT worse than Rwanda, Turkey and Mozambique. Ironically, although the C.A.S. Islands are the Dutch Caribbean (former Antilles) rank dead last, Holland and the BES Islands are ranked 11th on the list, close to the top, and the BES Islands Bonaire, Eustatius and Saba are also the Dutch Caribbean (former Antilles) Paradoxically we are ranked at the top and bottom of the international list, when it comes to the treatment of homosexuals, at the same time.
WILLEMSTAD – Aruba, Curacao and Sint Maarten get low scores when it comes to the protection and social attitude of LGBT people.
Therefore, the islands are even lower than, for example, Turkey, Rwanda, Mozambique and Poland.
This is evident in the ranking of travel destinations published by Asher & Lyric.
LGBT + people use that list to book their vacations. Norway ranks first and the Netherlands in eleventh place.
