A KLM aircraft was investigated by the fire brigade at the airport in Glasgow, Scotland. According to the airline, a package with dry ice is was the cause. As a precaution, passengers were taken out of the aircraft and the area was deposited.
In a statement, KLM announced that a leak had occurred in the cooling of a package full of glass tubes containing vaccines. The tubes themselves have remained intact, only the dry ice has started to leak.

According to the airline, the fire brigade has deposited the immediate surroundings of the KLM aircraft. The passengers would not have been in danger.
Photos from Glasgow show that there are many fire engines and police cars. According to the spokesperson, the airport is operating normally. Initially, various media reported that all traffic had been completely shut down and that the terminal would have been cleared.
