PHOTOS FRENCH QUARTER RESIDENTS VS. ST MARTIN GENDARMES PROTEST AND BLOCKADE

Residents of French Quarter, St Martin – fed up with inaction from the gendarmes, after a spate of arson attacks and other crimes, decided to take matters into their own hands, by blockading the Gendarmerie in French Quarter.
This of course forced a face off between the residents and the Gendarmes.
At least four arsons had been reported to the gendarmes. One of the fires endangered the lives of three children.
According to the residents, the Gendarmes captured the perpetrators, but the released them saying that they were ‘only 16’.
As long as there is inaction, the situation will intensify.
