- Tropical storm: A mobile crane will be on standby if the storm turns into a hurricane and the tower crane needs to be dismantled.
- Hurricane Cat. 1: The tower crane is certified to withstand hurricanes less than Cat. 3 however the crane elements can be dismantled at Cat. 1 based on the issued alerts.
- Hurricane Cat. 2: The tower crane’s jib will be dissembled. The mast can also be dissembled based on the issued alerts.
- Hurricane Cat. 3 and higher: The tower crane will be dismantled.
The mobile crane and the team responsible for dissembling the tower crane are located locally on the French Side, making it possible to dissemble the tower crane in a timely manner.
