Formateur Theodore HeyligerHARBOUR VIEW – On November 12th, 2014, His Excellency the Governor of Sint Maarten, drs. E.B. Holiday, met with formateur Theo Heyliger to discuss the progress of the formation process. During the meeting the formateur presented the Governor with the names of the candidates for the function of Prime Minister, ministers and the candidate Minister Plenipotentiary. The process of the vetting of the candidates will start as from now.
As stated before, the Governor requested Mr. Heyliger to present him the final report of the formation process ultimately November 30th, 2014. (Cabinet of the Governor)
ARCHIVED: PHILIPSBURG – Formateur and Member of the Parliament of Sint Maarten Hon. Theo Heyliger on Wednesday morning, November 12th, 2014, submitted the names and dossiers of candidates Ministers to form the next Council of Ministers of Sint Maarten to His Excellency Governor Eugene Holiday.
At the same time Heyliger confirmed that his name was not submitted as a candidate Minister and thus he will not take up the position as Prime Minister of Sint Maarten.
The vetting process will now commence. The Governor is expected to issue information to the public via the media. (Formateur)
