Robert-Jan Snijders and Pieter van der Laan – partners of YNNO – will travel to Willemstad in Curaçao for a special investment stop that will take place on 10, 11 and 12 October. The underlying purpose of the meeting is, among other things, to stimulate the economy of the city.
The investment mission is an initiative organized in collaboration with the employers’ organization VNO-NCW. In total, thirty professionals signed up to travel to Curaçao and attend the event. According to organizer VNO-NCW, the meeting was set up to introduce Dutch investors to the cultural heritage in Willemstad and to concrete investment opportunities there.
In particular, the organizers of the top hope that the event will attract more tourists, residents and businesses to Willemstad. “The mission is therefore intended for small and medium-sized investors, entrepreneurs and operators who see opportunities in project and urban development, hospitality & tourism, boutique hotels, Airbnb, apartments, retail and construction including renovation and restoration,” states VNO-NCW on its website.
Robert-Jan Snijders and Pieter van der Laan will visit the event from YNNO consultancy, which also has a practice in the Caribbean. Both Snijders and Van der Laan are, in addition to YNNO’s partner in the Netherlands, also a director of YNNO Caribbean. This overseas practice is run from Willemstad. Since 2013, YNNO has been active in this region, where the company focuses primarily on the former islands of the Netherlands Antilles.YNNO partners participate in investment mission to Curacao

For example, the company supported the government of Curaçao in improving its public services by focusing on improving IT systems and collaboration processes. “We also helped the Public Prosecution Service of Curaçao, Sint Maarten and the BES with the automation of the exchange of judicial information between the different parts of the Kingdom. And we assisted the Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland with the relocation of their shared service organization, “says YNNO Caribbean.
