Dutch Minister of Home Affairs and Kingdom Relations Ronald Plasterk is now saying that the plans for the construction of a Justice Park in St Maarten are no longer going ahead with the resignation of Justice Minister Roland Duncan. The Minister stated this in a letter to the Second Chamber of the DUtch Parliament on Monday in relation to questions that came up during a genral debate in April this year. At that debate, members of the Second Chambers Permanent Committe for Kingdom Relations asked fablut the financing of the Justice Park. Plasterk announced in that same letter that the Kingdom Government has agreed to more stringent rules for loans outside the regular country budget.
