PART 1 THE ST MAARTEN POLITICAL SET UP PHOTOS AND EMAILS: HOW D.P. SET UP MARIA BUNCAMPER AND LOUIE LAVEIST

  • In the game of politicals it is usually those closest to you who set you up for the fall. Now many people feel that to say that the United People’s Party plotted to blackmail and entrap Patrick Illidge is outrageous. So what I’m doing is pulling up DP email documents from 2004 to present. Detailing the set up and downfall of both Maria Buncamper and Louie Laveist. I’m not necessarily a fan of either. But as opposed to heresay, innuendo and rumours, the blog in the next few days will feature emails, documents and photos documenting how things really work in St Maarten politics. The first blogs will detail how Maria and Louie pissed off the DP party, and this is how politics work. They sent Maria to the prosecutor with information on Louie Laveist, because they had already decided to get rid of her. While Maria was running to the prosecutor with info on Louie, Julian Rollocks was in Curacao running to the Attorney General with info about Maria Buncamper. How did Maria upset her leader and mentor, now Prime Minister Sarah Wescot Williams? It was not just Maria who was being a problem, but also her husband, Claudius Toontje Buncamper. Nothing else to say. Simply read the emails, and keep up withthe plot. The email below shows the initial anger and frustration with Maria and Toontje.

URGENT

Roy,

Think with me.

Among other things, BC’s decision with respect to the land sale states:

“Firm assignment of a lot will be done after confirmation that applicant complies with the criteria.”

Until now therefore assignments can be considered preliminary assignments.

  • Registration continues for about a week. Registration, no assignments.

E.g. only in the morning hours. Avoid storming.

  • A “body(?) “ assesses the preliminary assignments and screens further registrants. In other words, the time  for the preliminary assignees to give proof of eligibility must be shortened. (Ask banks to cooperate)

Focus groups could be:

  • Civil servants
  • Young families/couples
  • Belvedere duplex residents. *
  • Those who can secure land and construction financing. (otherwise the 1 year limit is a joke).

* This list can be shortened, if we revisit the matter of the sale of duplexes and maybe put a part of the proceeds of the land sales towards making up to the SHDF in the event the duplex sales create a short fall.

Like this I think we can get “some of it(!) back in”.

By the way is the offer you referred to in press briefing realistic? Because with this as a real prospect, some more heat is taken off the current situation.
