Prosecutor to appeal Theodore Heyliger acquittal
The Public Prosecutor’s Office has decided to appeal the acquittal of former Member of Parliament Theodore Heyliger, in connection to the claim of vote buying. The Public Prosecutor’s Office would like to hear the assesment of the Court of Appeal concerning the meaning of “a promise” in the criminal law.
