Kickoff Elderly Home Repair Program St Maarten
William heads to The Hague July 4th PHILIPSBURG–Prime Minister William Marlin will lead a small delegation to The Hague on Tuesday, July 4, for the hearing before the Council of State.
The hearing has to do with the protest St. Maarten has filed against the Dutch Government over the dispute between St. Maarten and the Netherlands regarding the Integrity Chamber, the Dutch Government’s appointment of a quarter master and the instruction received by St. Maarten on this matter.
Head of the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau Rolando Brison (left) and Senior Policy Advisor at the Cabinet of the Minister of Tourism Julian Lake (right) are in Miami, Florida attending the Route Development for Tourism and Destinations course hosted by Routes Latin America. This course shows destinations and tourism authorities how to boost tourist numbers through route development. Tourism authorities and destinations have an important role to play in route development. Airlines have said that the support offered by destination partners is one of the most important factors when deciding whether to launch a new route, and they prefer to deal collectively with stakeholders who have a unified approach. The course shows participants how to utilize their collective resources to beat the competition and win new air services.
