SYNOPSIS:
Moisture associated with outer bands of Tropical Storm Nicole, along with an unstable atmosphere will produce isolated showers and possible thunderstorms over the local region. The chance for showers and thunderstorms will decrease during the latter part of the forecast period, as TS Nicole moves away.
Seas will remain slight to moderate for the next few days.

SPECIAL FEATURE:
At 5:00 am, the center of Tropical Storm Nicole was located about 500 miles north-northwest of St. Maarten. Nicole is moving slowly northward with maximum sustained winds near 65 mph.
The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor this system.
