Airport Tax Increase ST Maarten, Curacao, Aruba

WILLEMSTAD – Tickets for flights from Curaçao will become slightly more expensive next year. Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP) increases the departure tax for passengers by a few dollars in order to be able to invest in the facilities at the airport.

The tax on international flights rises from 42 to 45 dollars. For trips to Bonaire 16 instead of 10 dollars has to be paid, and towards Aruba and St. Maarten the tax is increased from 30 and 15 dollars to 32 dollars respectively. Switchers will soon pay 11 instead of 10 dollars. In addition to the tax, $ 1.32 comes as standard for border control.

Most international airlines that fly to Curacao, such as KLM and TUI fly, have included the tax in the ticket price as standard. On some regional routes, the tax must be paid at the airport.
