COVID-19: NEW WEEKLY DROP IN CONTAMINATION IN THE DUTCH PART

Covid-19: new weekly drop in contamination in part Dutch
In a few days the number of active cases of covid-19 decreased in the Dutch part, from 27 on March 2 to 17 on March 7. Last week 13 new cases were recorded by the health authorities of Sint Maarten, this low level of contamination had not been observed since July last year, that is to say before the second wave appeared at the end of July. The total number of people who have been infected is 2,070 of which 2,026 have been declared cured.

According to the latest health bulletins, 1,875 tests have been carried out since the beginning of March, a total of 21,103 since March 2020.

According to government data, 2,022 doses of the vaccine have been injected and 6,636 people have registered for vaccination.
