IMPORTANT UPDATE: ARUBA ENDS COVID-19 MANDATES AND CONDITIONS… FOR LOCALS

Today the Government of Aruba announced changes in the measures against COVID19 and therefore Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) hereby informs about the measures for all Queen Beatrix International Airport users as of tomorrow February 17, 2022:

AAA as manager and operator of Aruba’s only airport will maintain all preventive and safety measures in all Restricted Areas (inside the Terminal Building: Local Immigrations, Local Customs, Security, US CBP area, all Gates, and Main Concession area) until March 1, 2022, to continue protecting its operation, all employees, and travelers.

This means that the use of a face mask is recommended in all office areas, check-in areas, and arrivals areas, but is mandatory in all Restricted Areas (inside the Terminal Building: Local Immigrations, Local Customs, Security, US CBP area, all Gates, and Main Concession area) until March 1, 2022.

In the meantime, AAA will continue monitoring the global aviation situation before changing its current measures.
