LATEST BREAKING: PHOTOS TRUCK ROLLS OVER ST PETERS HILL AFTER BREAKS FAILED, ONE DEAD, ONE IS CURRENTLY BEING REMOVED FROM THE JAWS OF LIFE

 

 

PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten – One man is now dead after an accident on Century Hill Saturday afternoon.

The accident which took place after four (4) Saturday afternoon involved a a Mitsubishi dump-truck that was maneuvering at the top of the hill when for unknown reasons the driver lost control of the jeep and it fatally crashed over the Steep Incline of the Century Hill.

Initial reports say that the driver, a school teacher Frank Delamore of the St. Maarten Vocational Training School, suffered serious injuries.

Teacher Delamore is familiar with the location as it is said that he does some woke at the top of the hill where numerous telecommunication antennas are located.

The young man who is said to have been assisting him died during the accident.

his point, one has been confirmed dead, a Haitian national, one critically injured. The police department, the EMT’s, the Fire department along with the Ambulance are all working diligently with the “Jaws of Life” to remove the individual who is in bad shape. There is no info right now on how many were actually injured since there were at least 5 ambulances, along with half a dozen fire trucks, and several police cars and trucks.

I was told by an eyewitness that it seems that the breaks failed, and the truck rolled back over the hill.
