LATEST POST-STORM UPDATE: FROM DUTCH ST MAARTEN

POST-STORM UPDATE: Currently both Hurricanes, Irma and Jose, have passed St. Maarten and relief and evacuation measures are underway. The Dutch Military is working to clear and keep clear the runway at Princess Juliana Airport to assist in these among other efforts. If you are a tourist on-island, please email your nationality and location to sxmflights@gmail.com.

Local radio station Laser 101 St. Maarten (101.1FM and online at Laser101.fm) is now functioning. Please tune to it for information and continue to monitor official news sources.

  1. total failure of sxm govt…..chaos and endangering all…..all should be fired….asap new govt immediately dr a.c. Wathey created a great sxm now destroyed but a bunch of fools…fire them all…and return great leaders to govt…..or go back to dirt runways…..disgrace!

Therein lies the tragedy…..no proper safe preparation by those elected to protect….utter morons and when Americans elect another island in the future it will not be sxm……you got great folks the problem you elected idiots who thought God exempted sxm from major storms….get a brain…better get a weapon since no pd…shame idiots she be fired now and emergency govt replace the morons……beyond unspeakable now you use your brain!

  3. Dutch should regain order supply water and food and dissolve the government made up of utter idiots!
