Parliament meeting October 20th 2014
This afternoon October 20th 2014, Parliament will come together for an urgent plenary meeting requested by the UP party to discuss the “Instruction / Aanwijzing” that is to be given to the Governor asking him not to approve nor sign any National Ordinances concerning the appointments of Prime-Minister and Ministers of the newly formed Government of UPP/Cornelius de Weever/Sarah Wescot-Williams/Leona Marlin.
This meeting was called early, because Sint Maarten doesn’t possess the formal Kingdom Decree (KD) / Koninklijk Besluit (KB), which will today be sent to the King for signing and Wednesday 22nd of October 2014 will be published.

Then we’ll exactly know what is in the KD /KB.
The only document Sint Maarten is in possession of  is the letter of Minister Dr. R.H.A. Plasterk , Dutch Minister of Home Affairs and Kingdom Relation under number 2014-0000554555 dated October 17th 2014 addressed to the Second Chamber in The Hague.

This letter gives absolutely no insight into the measure imposed on the Governor of Sint Maarten. And this letter must be discussed not in our Parliament of Sint Maarten, but the KD / KB.
A postponement of this meeting until Sint Maarten has the KB / KD is much in its neccessary.

Formerly the kingdom government of The Netherlands when wishing to impose a sanction / measure on Country Sint Maarten would refer to Article 43 of the Kingdom Charter / Statuut. Using article 43 of the Kingdom Charter / Statuut enables country Sint Maarten when so wish to appeal the decision by the Kingdom Council of State / Raad van State.

But this can be by-passed by the Kingdom Council of Minister by giving an Instruction (Aanwijzing) to the Governor according to the Kingdom Law no. 340 of July the 7th 2010, regarding the Rules for the Governor of Sint Maarten.

And such an Instruction cannot be appealed by Country Sint Maarten by the Kingdom Council of State. An Instruction like this, which really interferes with internal matters of Country Sint Maarten cannot be appealed.
Neo colonialism 2014! It’s really a blatant shame of The Netherlands and must be fought out to the roots.(QUOTE)
