Today as I celebrate 23 years working for the Government of St. Maarten I would to thank my almighty Father for all he has done and take this opportunity to thank these two special men in this picture , Mr Rene Richardson and Mr. Joseph Richardson along with Mr. Rafael Boasman ( not in the picture) for seeing the potentials and capability in me. With 4 Department changes, 7 different positions, several educational upgrades / training and numerous promotions I know that they are proud of me today.
This journey started at the Census Office as a front office clerk, Island Secretarial Office, Department of Labour and Social Affairs and now today, Department of Labour, as the Assistant Mediator. It wasn’t a smooth 23 years, it had some stumbling blocks along the way but with the strength, faith and determination that I have, I managed to over come them all. I still have a lot more to learn and with my heart and eyes set on a bigger picture, my greatest achievement is yet to come. Thank you to my kids, my family, friends and coworkers for your support.
