A speedboat with 1500 kilos of cocaine has been intercepted in Aruba, reports a spokesperson for the Royal Netherlands Navy. Four people were arrested in the boat.
The speedboat was spotted by the Coast Guard Caribbean during the night from Thursday to Friday. The boat was then stopped in cooperation with, among others, the police of Aruba.
In the Leeward Islands, boats with drugs are regularly intercepted. The smugglers are almost always on their way to the United States.
