St Maarten And Antilles To Start Vaccinations Mid February 2021

THE HAGUE (ANP) – The Caribbean part of the Kingdom can probably just start puncturing around February 15, as planned. The Ministry of Health reports this.

RIVM is preparing the first shipments of the Moderna vaccine for Saba and St. Eustatius. Bonaire and the CAS countries (Curaçao, Aruba and Sint Maarten) will receive vaccines from BioNTech / Pfizer in this first phase.

In those countries and in the special municipality of Bonaire, healthcare workers and people over 60 years of age are initially eligible for the Moderna vaccine. On Saba and St. Eustatius, the Moderna vaccine is offered to all adults at once.
