Ton Rooijers sworn in by the President of the Court

Ton Rooijers was sworn in on Friday by the President of the Court, Mauritsz de Kort, in the position of Director of Operations of the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten and of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. This was announced on Wednesday.

He will fulfill this position as of 1 February and will also be a member of the Board of the Court as of this date. Rooijers has been appointed for a period of five years.

Before this, Rooijers worked for years in the judiciary. From January 2013 to December 2021 he worked as a board member of the court in Rotterdam. Before this position, he worked for 11 years at the court in Haarlem as director of operations and board member.
