Two people were injured during a shooting on Tuesday afternoon at Ordenansweg in Amerikanenkamp. When the police arrived, one victim was lying on the balcony and gave no more signs of life.
This is the 25-year-old Dayanira Marcela Angelista Eisden.
A second victim, also with gunshot wounds, had left the crime scene and was later found at a shop on the Gosieweg. An ambulance picked her up and brought her to the hospital.
From witness statements it became clear that a man had words with two ladies who were standing on the balcony. At one point he drew a weapon and shot the women. He then fled by car.
The suspect is a 46-year-old man with the initials HR. He was later arrested in the Rancho neighborhood.
